Dear Brothers, as an update on this letter, we are asking that anyone with a tentative interest in the retreat-pilgrimage let us know by the end of this month-- AUGUST 31. Then, if you have a serious interest and are able to make a tentative commitment, to let us know by the end of SEPTEMBER--30TH.

Dear Brother Priests in the Divine Will,
Greetings and peace in the Eternal Fiat!
As we have chosen today, August 15th, 2009, the Feast of the Divine Will, to launch the new Priest in the Divine Will website, www.priestinthedivinewill.org as we continue our fraternal joy in proposing the following for our Priests’ Retreat.
As you know, the Holy Father Benedict XVI is calling us priests to The International Conference in Rome, with the theme “Faithfulness of Christ, Faithfulness of Priests” that will be held June 9-11, 2010, culminating with a Mass presided over by the Pope.
Such a unique opportunity invites us to participate in this important moment for the entire priesthood, allowing us to bring others into our experience of the Divine Will, which could very well be the answer to the “priest problem” the Church is currently attempting to rectify.
Our proposal is this: For as many as can—and we are aware of the sacrifice involved—we would attend this Conference in Rome, and then proceed from there to Corato, (BA), Italy, for several m ore days together, studying both the Writings of Luisa and the importance of her person. We would certainly be meeting with the current Archbishop Mon. Giovan Battista Picchieri, Don Sergio Pellegrini, the pastor of Santa Maria Greca, Luisa’s parish, as well as Sister Assunta, the Founder of the Association Luisa Piccarreta, P.F.D.V., the Juridical Actress of Luisa’s Cause.
The Conference in Rome will begin the morning of June 9th at St. Paul’s and end at noon on June 11th. Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi (O.R.P.), the official pilgrimage office of the Vatican is organizing the international gathering of priests. We include the website link to find more information. www.orpnet.org
So, the plan is to arrive in Rome for Priests Conference on the 7th or 8th. Then, on June 12th depart Rome for Corato, (BA) by reserved coach or train and spend another 4 or 5 days there, leaving Corato on June 17th . Each priest can purchase and schedule his flights arrival, returning on his own with extended stays if he so desires.
It is possible at this early date to arrange lodging together in Rome, transport from Rome, and lodging together in Corato. (BA) We are willing to make those arrangements with Opera Romana and with the people in Corato.
We first need to know as soon as possible how many might be ready to make a commitment at this time, and how many are seriously interested. Naturally, the earlier we make plans, the lower the cost.
If you have any questions, please address them to Fr. Robert Young, O.F.M. at contact info below. We are still in the planning stage, and more information will follow to those interested.
We urge you to avail yourself of this opportunity, at any and all costs, giving witness to what it means to be a Priest in the Divine Will.
Your Brothers in the Divine Will,

Please do NOT yet make your own reservations with O.R.P., since we may be able to make a group reservation and find lodging at one place. Once we have a number interested, we will determine if that is possible. ALL priests are invited, even those with little knowledge of the Divine Will. Our apostolate of announcing the Kingdom concerns every Son of the Church.
